Lawmakers in Olympia will receive an extra boost of inspiration this week in the form of Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.
Carroll will visit the state Capitol on Wednesday morning and is scheduled to meet with Gov. Jay Inslee and members of the House and Senate. His schedule includes a speech on the Senate floor at 11:15 a.m.
His visit will focus on sharing information about the team’s community outreach and youth violence prevention programs.
The Seahawks have made the playoffs twice since Carroll took over as head coach in 2011, including a NFC divisional game appearance last season.
